Are you passionate about creating impactful events and managing high-level projects? Join Kappa Sigma Fraternity as our Events & Special Projects Manager, where you’ll lead the planning and execution of our premier national gatherings and drive strategic initiatives that support our mission.
What You’ll Do:
As the primary staff lead for the Fraternity’s largest events, you will:
- Plan and manage logistics for major events including:
- Grand Conclave
- Leadership Conference
- Champion’s Weekend
- Man of the Year Banquet
- SEC Meetings
- District Conclaves
- Oversee everything from venue selection and contracts to registration, travel, AV, and on-site operations.
- Collaborate with vendors, volunteers, and internal staff to ensure each event runs smoothly and professionally.
- Lead cross-departmental special projects that support Kappa Sigma’s strategic priorities.
- Provide key support to executive leadership, producing reports, presentations, and communications.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in event planning and cross-functional project management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Cvent, Salesforce, or other registration/event tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
- Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends during events.
