Meet the Commissioners: Operations Commissioner Philip J. Hetu

Brother Philip J. Hetu (Nu-Epsilon, New Mexico State University, ‘03) is one of the Fraternity’s hardest working volunteers. He continues to serve as the Operations Commissioner and has been a critical leader in transforming successive Supreme Executive Committees’ visions into action. Brother Hetu joined us to discuss his service as a Kappa Sigma volunteer in today’s post.

What is your professional title and employer outside of the Order?

“Vice President & Partner at Coaching Charities.”

What is your favorite Kappa Sigma event you attended?

“My favorite event was the Grand Conclave in Charlottesville, VA. for our 150th Anniversary.”

Why do you volunteer for Kappa Sigma? 

“To give back to the organization that has given me so much.”

What’s the best advice for Kappa Sigma Chapters that you can give? 

“RUSH!”
