The Tau-Beta Chapter was installed at Humboldt State University on April 26, 2014, in Arcata, Calif. Tau-Beta became the 388th chapter chartered in Kappa Sigma’s history. A total of 38 men were initiated into the chapter, including three alumni who  graduated from the colony in 2013. The Pi-Upsilon (Academy of Arts), Theta-Iota (San Jose State) and Sigma-Omega (Santa Clara) chapters each sent ritual teams to install Tau-Beta. The chapter is led by Grand Master Ian Mason and is located in the Bay Area/Pacific Coast District where Brother Jeffrey Munowitch (Epsilon-Theta, University of California-Santa Barbara, ’06) serves as District Grand Master. Worthy Grand Procurator Derek L. Marchman delivered the keynote address at the chapter’s installation banquet that included family, friends and university administrators.
