Did you know we changed the Kappa Sigma crest?
As an organization, it is important for us to protect our identity. Given the nature of our organization, we have a number of official logos – each with a specific purpose. To ensure the proper use of the Kappa Sigma trademarks by you and your chapter, please refer to The Official Branding Guide which can be found in the Public Relations Folder of KappaSig.net.
One of the things you will notice is the changes to The Crest. The Crest has changed many times in our past, most recently being in 2014:
Old Kappa Sigma Crest Compared to New Kappa Sigma Crest
As you can see, there are some notable differences between the two. As our most recognizable symbol, it is important to the consistency of our brand that everyone use the current version. Every communication your chapter makes, whether that’s email, social media, website content, or written correspondence, should be consistent with the brand of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. You can help Kappa Sigma strengthen its brand and remain consistent in its messaging by properly applying the standards described in this guide. We’ve released The Official Branding Guide and the Kappa Sigma Logos Page based on your feedback and to make this transition easier for you.
The Official Branding Guide is just one of many resources you will find in the Public Relations Folder of KappaSig.net. Check it out today and if you have any questions, feel free to email the Communications Commission.
