The Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund today announced new RECORDS across all major undergraduate scholarship categories, with $575,370 in 2025 Donald C. Dilley, Jr. Scholarship-Leadership Awards, representing a 14% increase over last year’s total.

With an all-time high 805 undergraduate recipients across 260 Chapters and new high average award amount of $715, these scholarships demonstrate the Endowment Fund’s continued commitment to investing in the academic success and leadership development of our undergraduate Brothers.

Thank you to the generosity of so many Brothers for continuing to share their treasures and making the Endowment Fund an essential pillar of Kappa Sigma’s culture of giving.

The Donald C. Dilley, Jr. Scholarship-Leadership Award Program is named in honor of Brother Donald C. Dilley, Jr, a 1953 initiate of the Epsilon-Phi Chapter at Texas Tech. Brother Dilley’s Kappa Sigma roots ran deep, as his father, Donald Dilley, Sr. was a Gamma-Omicron initiate at the University of Kansas. He served our country in the United States Navy and, following his retirement from the Navy, was a farmer in Texas until he retired to Florida. Brother Dilley believed in education and providing scholarships to the Brothers of Kappa Sigma across North America. We are forever grateful for his significant naming donation that helps fund our annual scholarship program.
