Kappa Sigma is proud to announce reestablishment and installation of the Nu-Epsilon Chapter at the New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. This past Saturday, November 15, 2025, they were reinstalled as our 254th Chapter. On February 11, 2025, the Nu-Epsilon Colony at New Mexico State University kicked off, and over the last few months, these men have worked hard to earn their Chapter’s Charter. To achieve their charter, just this year, the 33 men of Nu-Epsilon donated over 1,434  hours of community service, and completed multiple workshops on time management, the Code of Conduct, and Champion Quest.

These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Scribe Matthew B. Bott (Kappa-Rho, ’06), Communications and Publications Coordinator Michael J. Malenic (Pi-Rho, ’16) and Ritualist Colton Stewart (Theta-Zeta, ’14), who represented the Fraternity. District Grand Master Olin J. Ellsworth (Theta-Zeta, ’07) represented the New Mexico West Texas District.

Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, including: Alumus Advisor Samuel A. Michnovicz (Theta-Zeta, ’03), Assistant Alumnus Advisors J. R. Bailey (Theta-Zeta, ’18) and Alex Aguirre (Theta-Zeta, ’19), Pi-Tau Alumnus Advisor Riley R. Daggett (Theta-Zeta, ’15), Theta-Zeta Assistant Alumnus Advisor Zachary I. Ramirez (Theta-Zeta, ’13) and Joaquin R. Silva (Nu-Epsilon, ’02)

We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:

Delta-Zeta – University of New Mexico
Epsilon-Xi – University of Texas at El Paso
Pi-Tau – New Mexico Tech
Theta-Zeta – Eastern New Mexico University

Brothers everywhere wish Nu-Epsilon the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
