Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to reestablish the Kappa-Pi Chapter the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Okla. and this past Saturday, November 16, 2024, they were reinstalled as our 198th Chapter. On December 5, 2023, the Kappa-Pi Colony at the University of Central Oklahoma was kicked off and over the last year has worked hard to achieve their Chapter. To achieve their charter, just this year, the 38 men of Kappa-Pi donated nearly 1,930 hours of community service, and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.

These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Master Burton R. Trembly (Theta-Zeta, ’98), Endowment Fund Secretary Hugh M. Robert, Esq. (Epsilon-Mu, ’95) Assistant Director of Recruitment W. Matthew Griffiths (Theta-Rho ’18), and Ritualist Jordan M. Valenti (Kappa-Rho, ’10)) representing the Fraternity. District Grand Master Austin T. Landes (Gamma-Kappa, ’12), and Assistant District Grand Masters Jason A. Strickland (Nu-Phi,  ’93) and Davis G. Roby (Theta-Psi, ’20) represented the District.

Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, including Alumnus Advisor Richard G. Dixon (Kappa-Pi, ’88), Assistant Alumnus Advisors B. Trey Lewis (Kappa-Pi, ’10), and Christopher J. Young (Theta-Psi, ’01)

We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:

Gamma-Kappa – The University of Oklahoma
Nu-Phi – Northeastern State University
Epsilon-Upsilon – University of North Texas
Phi-Gamma – Cameron University
Omicron-Tau – University of Arkansas-Fort Smith
Theta-Psi – Oklahoma City University

Brothers everywhere wish Kappa-Pi the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!

FIVE CAMPAIGN  Legacy At the Lawn

Welcome to the FIVE Campaign — a historic weekend of giving in support of Legacy at the Lawn and the next great chapter in the story of Kappa Sigma.

What is Legacy at the Lawn?

It is the expansion of the finest fraternity headquarters in the world. Our enhanced Charlottesville campus will preserve the history and legacy of our Chapters, honor the achievements of individual Brothers, showcase our individual chapter archives, and tell our story for generations to come.

Our weekend goal for the FIVE Campaign is $1,250,000, and to reach it, we are challenging every Chapter and their Alumni to raise $5,000 in new naming opportunities. Nearly 200 alumni ambassadors have already stepped forward to help us achieve this important milestone.

Your gift also has the potential to directly help your undergraduates at your Chapter.
