View the 2017 Scholarship-Leadership Award Winners

It has been an incredible year for the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund Scholarship-Leadership Award program. Since 1947, the Endowment Fund has donated nearly $5 million to brothers demonstrating excellence in academics, campus involvement, and fraternity leadership. The 2017 Scholarship-Leadership Award Program has had an amazing year:

  • 2,100+ applications submitted
  • Brothers from 256 chapters will be receiving a cash award
  • There are 346 winners
  • This year the program will distribute $130,000

Last year, The Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund Trustee’s established the Dr. John W. Ryan Leadership Circle, which recognizes the Top 25 undergraduates who scored highest on the Scholarship-Leadership Award Application. This recognition has been named in honor of Past Worthy Grand Master, Dr. John W. Ryan, one of the world’s most respected educators and college administration leaders. Each Ryan Honoree will be recognized at the 2018 Leadership Conference and will have their registration and lodging paid for.

Recently the Kappa Sigma Military Heroe’s Foundation funded two additional, $1,250 Scholarship-Leadership Awards for undergraduate brothers that have served in the United States or Canadian armed forces. They are named in honor of; Dwain P. Ramlo and Justin Constantine.
