Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to recharter the Gamma-Rho Chapter at the University of Arizona. On September 17, 2022, the Gamma-Rho Colony was kicked off, rekindling their 100+ year history. To achieve their charter the 62 men of Gamma-Rho donated over 2,300 hours of community service, $5,100 in to charitable organizations, and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.

These Brothers were joined by VP of External Affairs Leo Brown (Theta-Theta, ‘04) representing the Fraternity, their DGM and Ritualist Michael G. Scholten (Kappa-Gamma, ’09), Alumni Advisor Steven C. Maslowski (Rho, ’05), and ADGM James Costas (Kappa-Tau, ’72) for the occasion.

Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, especially the Gamma-Rho Alumni who ran a ritual team. Especially George Jenson (Gamma-Rho, University of Arizona, ’82), Ed Finger (Gamma-Rho, University of Arizona, ’97), Bryan Poole (Gamma-Rho, University of Arizona, ’92), William Lewis (Gamma-Rho, University of Arizona, ’93), and Area Recruitment Manager Luis Briceno (Sigma-Xi, West Florida, ’17)

We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:

Rho – Arizona State University
Kappa-Gamma – Northern Arizona University

Brothers everywhere wish Gamma-Rho the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
