Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the reestablishment and Installation of the Pi-Alpha Chapter at Louisiana State University at Alexandria! Originally founded in December 2007, Pi-Alpha returned to the LSUA campus with their Colony Kickoff on December 1, 2024. On May 2, 2026, after over a year of hard work and dedication, the Pi-Alpha Chapter earned its Charter and was officially installed as an active Chapter of Kappa Sigma with 28 Initiates! Over the course of their Colony development, Pi-Alpha put in the work in Champion Quest, Brothers-in-Action, and A Greater Cause, logging over 2,000 hours of community service and $2,000 in charitable donations during the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years.
The Installation was overseen by District Grand Master Michael K. Griffiths (Theta-Rho, McNeese State University, ‘87), Worthy Grand Treasurer Lionel L. de la Houssaye, Jr. (Theta-Rho, McNeese State University, ‘83), Ritualists Joshua P. Christensen (Epsilon, Centenary College of Louisiana, ‘22) and Kristian B. Griffiths (Theta-Rho, McNeese State University, ‘14), and Area Recruitment Manager Alex Zulueta (Lambda-Epsilon, University of Central Florida, ‘22).
We would also like to acknowledge and thank the alumni Brothers present for the Pi-Alpha Installation, and the following Chapters for supporting through their dedicated Ritual teams:
- Epsilon, Centenary College of Louisiana
- Theta-Rho, McNeese State University
Brothers across the Order congratulate Pi-Alpha and the newest members of the Fraternity and eagerly watch them on their journey to excellence as one of Kappa Sigma’s newest reestablished Chapters!
