On Oct. 18, 2014, the Alpha-Eta Chapter at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. will host its 3rd Annual Kappa Sigma “Shave Away Cancer” event. The Brothers of Alpha-Eta, in conjunction with The Saint Baldrick’s Foundation and Wahl Clippers, pledge to shave their heads for childhood cancer research to help reach their goal of raising $60,000! This year, the chapter is taking the “Shave Away Cancer” event to the National Mall because beating childhood cancer is a national issue.
The Alpha-Eta Chapter will shave their heads on the National Mall from 12-4 p.m. to make the statement that “the victims of this disease have the support of the Kappa Sigma Brothers and the community.” All funds raised will be donated for childhood cancer research.
You can make a difference by:

  3. Using #GetBuzzed4Good on social media to join the movement and spread the word!
