This fall, Kappa Sigmas are taking to the field and leading their schools to victory on the football field. Brothers Bumper J. Pool (Xi, University of Arkansas, ’19), Matt Corral (Delta-Xi, University of Mississippi, ’18), Jaylon Robinson (Lambda-Epsilon, University of Central Florida, ’19), and Ellison C. Morel (Theta-Nu, Ashland University, ’18) have all taken positions on the gridiron.

Brother Bumper Pool is a linebacker with the Arkansas Razorbacks and had a breakout year in 2020 with 101 total tackles. This year, he’s off to a great start with 11.2 tackles per game which ranks him second in the highly competitive Southeastern Conference (SEC). Today, Brother Pool and the Razorbacks look to go 3 – 0 as they take on the Georgia Southern Eagles.

Brother Matt Corral is originally from Ventura, CA, and is included in discussion as a likely hot pick for the 2022 NFL Draft, notably as the 7th best current pick for the NFL, if he has another successful season with the Ole Miss Rebels as their starting quarterback. Brother Corral made eye-catching plays during last year’s shortened season: 3,337 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions while completing over 70% of his passes. Brother Corral and the Rebels are also looking to stay undefeated as they host the Tulane Green Wave today.

Brother Jaylon Robinson previously played Wide Receiver for the Oklahoma Sooners before transfering to the sunshine state with the nickname, “Flash”. Brother Robinson is no stranger to running across the field. While sitting out last season, per transfer rules, Brother Robinson is hoping to live up to his nickname this year with the UCF Knights. With a loss on the road last night at Louisville, Brother Robinson and the Knights have a bye week next week to prepare for their game at Navy on October 2.

And finally, Brother Ellison Morel has his hands full leading a FACE award-winning chapter at Ashland University while also starting as the Ashland Eagles’ kicker. The Eagles have a bye week this week and will be taking on the Quincy Hawks next week.

Good luck to each of these Brothers as they take the field this season and lead their teams to victory!
