Kappa Sigma is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Colony Development Coordinator to
lead the establishment, growth, and development of new Colonies nationwide. This role is critical to the
Fraternity’s growth strategy and ensures each Colony is equipped with the tools, training, and support
necessary to achieve successful installation as a Chapter.
What You’ll Do:
As the primary staff lead for colonies, you will:
- Partner with the Chief Recruitment Officer and Area Recruitment Managers to plan and execute
on-campus recruitment efforts for new Colonies. - Recruit, train, and engage alumni volunteers, including building advisor teams for each Colony.
- Coordinate and execute Colony kickoff retreats in collaboration with alumni and internal
commissions. - Provide ongoing development support to colonies, including guidance on operations, officer
development, and compliance standards. - Monitor colony progress through the established roadmap and ensure adherence to minimum
performance benchmarks. - Support the preparation and submission of charter petitions to the Supreme Executive
Committee. - Lead the planning and execution of Chapter installations, including logistics, travel coordination,
and ritual events. - Develop and implement public relations plans for installations, including University engagement
and alumni outreach.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment while managing multiple projects
- Willingness to travel as needed for recruitment and installations
