Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to reestablish the Lambda-Beta Chapter at Eastern Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, and this past Saturday, December 2, 2023, they were installed, reclaiming their position as our 207th Chapter. On November 17, 2022, the Lambda-Beta Colony was kicked off and over the last year have worked hard to achieve their Chapter. To achieve their charter, just this year, the 63 men of Lambda-Beta donated over 3,000 hours of community service, over $10,000 to charitable causes, and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.

These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Procurator Adam T. Poe (Kappa-Mu, ’06), Assistant Director of Recruitment and Expansion Matthew Griffiths (Theta-Rho, ’18), Communication and Publication Coordinator Michael J. Malenic (Pi-Rho, ’16) and Ritual Commission Member Samuel B. Isidoro (Xi-Rho, ’16) representing the Fraternity. Their DGM Robert S. Wrinkle, Jr. (Lambda, Knoxville, ’76), and Omikron Alumni Advisor Ethan M. Hanny (Lambda-Beta, ’09) represented the District.

Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, especially the alumni of the Lambda-Beta Chapter who attended.

We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:

Kappa-Mu – Tennessee Technological University

Lambda – University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Lambda-Gamma – Appalachian State University

Tau-Nu – Marshall University

Theta Prime – Cumberland University

Brothers everywhere wish Lambda-Beta the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!

FIVE CAMPAIGN  Legacy At the Lawn

Welcome to the FIVE Campaign — a historic weekend of giving in support of Legacy at the Lawn and the next great chapter in the story of Kappa Sigma.

What is Legacy at the Lawn?

It is the expansion of the finest fraternity headquarters in the world. Our enhanced Charlottesville campus will preserve the history and legacy of our Chapters, honor the achievements of individual Brothers, showcase our individual chapter archives, and tell our story for generations to come.

Our weekend goal for the FIVE Campaign is $1,250,000, and to reach it, we are challenging every Chapter and their Alumni to raise $5,000 in new naming opportunities. Nearly 200 alumni ambassadors have already stepped forward to help us achieve this important milestone.

Your gift also has the potential to directly help your undergraduates at your Chapter.
