Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to reestablish the Pi-Tau Chapter at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, New Mexico and this past Saturday, December 9, 2023, they were installed, reclaiming their position as our 333nd Chapter. On April 30, 2023, the Pi-Tau Colony was kicked off and over the last year and a half have worked hard to achieve their Chapter. To achieve their charter, just this year, the 35 men of Pi–Tau donated over 1,900 hours of community service,  and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.

These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Master of Ceremonies Isaac E. Lipscomb (Omicron-Zeta ’10), Vice President External Affairs Leo J. Brown IV (Theta-Theta, ’04), and Ritual Commission Member Colton M. Stewart (Theta-Zeta,  ’14) representing the Fraternity.

Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, including Alumnus Advisor Riley R. Daggett (Theta-Zeta, ’15), Assistant Alumnus Advisors Brendan E. Clark (Delta-Zeta, ’19), Calvin J. Grace (Theta-Zeta,  ’20), Cash M. Daggett (Theta-Zeta, ’18), Nicholas E. Chavez (Pi-Tau, ’09), Theta-Zeta Alumnus Advisor Alejandro J. Torres (Theta-Zeta, ’16) and Delta-Zeta Assistant Alumnus Advisor Olin J. Ellsworth (Theta-Zeta, ’07)

We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:

Delta-Zeta – University of New Mexico

Theta-Zeta – Eastern New Mexico University

Brothers everywhere wish Pi-Tau the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
