Kappa Sigma is excited to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to reestablish the Tau-Chi Chapter at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. On April 7, 2022 the Tau-Chi Colony was kicked off and through hard work and dedication, a little over a year later, this past Saturday, May 6, 2023, they were installed.  To achieve their charter, the 35 men of Tau-Chi donated over 1,100 hours of community service and over $1,200 to charity organizations, surpassed the All Men’s Average the last two semesters, and completed multiple workshops regarding Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.

These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Scribe Daniel Tierney (Theta-Nu, ’99), Director of Events and Donor Engagement Kyle Somers (Xi-Rho, ’17) , and Ritual Commissioner Sawyer Coleman (Rho-Omega, ’14) representing the Fraternity. Their DGM James DelRocini, Jr.(Xi-Rho, ’15) and their Alumni Advisor Anthony J. Bufi (Omicron-Eta, ’13) represented the District.

Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special, especially Volunteer Commissioner Christopher Suttmeier (Tau-Chi, ’16).

We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:

Gamma-Upsilon – Rutger, The State University of New Jersey
Pi-Nu – Ramapo College of New Jersey
Rho-Omega – Stevens Institute of Technology
Phi-Alpha – Ewing Township, New Jersey

Brothers everywhere wish Tau-Chi the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
