Throughout the month of November the undergraduate brothers of the Lambda-Lambda Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Elon University grew mustaches to raise awareness and solicit donations for men’s health issues in support of the Movember Foundation. The Movember Foundation is the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year round. This includes addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
The Chapter began the month of November with a goal of raising $15,000 to be donated to the Movember Foundation. After a full month of putting their razors down and raising money, the fraternity was able to surpass their goal, raising a grand total of $15,996 – ranking them 54th nationally!
This is the fourth year in a row Lambda-Lambda has raised over $10,000 for this worthy cause. They look forward to next November when they will participate again!
