This biennium, Kappa Sigma set a goal of raising more than $1 million during our annual Stephen Alonzo Jackson Weekend of Giving. Thanks to the combined efforts of Kappa Sigma’s undergraduates and alumni brothers, the fraternity is well on our way to surpassing that goal after raising $545,465 during the 2020 SAJ Weekend of Giving.

Thank you to all our donors, who donated 13,458 different gifts to chapter scholarship funds. Special thanks to the Brothers of Delta-Mu (University of North Dakota), who raised more than $50,000 for their scholarship fund.

The more than $545,000 raised beats in 2020 the event record set last year when Kappa Sigma raised almost $400,000 during the 2019 event.

Stephen Alonzo Jackson Weekend of Giving was established in 2016 to help raise funds for the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund’s Scholarship-Leadership Awards program. 100% of funds raised during SAJ Weekend of Giving go towards designated Chapter Scholarship Funds. Scholarship-Leadership Awards are given to qualifying Kappa Sigma undergraduate members each year on Kappa Sigma’s Founders Day (December 10).
