We are excited to announce the re-installation of the 35th Chapter of Kappa Sigma. Please join us in welcoming back the Sigma Chapter at Tulane University!

The Sigma Chapter’s 66 Founding Fathers were initiated on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Brothers in attendance for the installation included: Worthy Grand Master Adam J. Merillat (Epsilon-Mu, The University of Tulsa, ’02), Brothers in Action Commissioner and District Grand Master Lionel L. de la Houssaye, Jr. (Theta-Rho, McNeese State University, ’83), and Development Coordinator Kyle Somers (Xi-Rho, Stockton University, ’17).

There were also several Southern Louisiana volunteer officers in attendance including Assistant District Grand Master Michael K. Griffiths (Theta-Rho, McNeese State University, ’87), Alumnus Advisor for Theta-Rho Kristian B. Griffiths (Theta-Rho, McNeese State University, ’14), Alumnus Advisor for Sigma Bradley D. Wellons (Alpha-Upsilon, Millsaps College, ’87), and Area Recruitment Manager Mark L. Gigliotti (Delta-Gamma, University of Wyoming, ’18).

The Ritualist for the installation was Samuel B. Isidoro (Xi-Rho, Stockton University, ’16).

A huge thank you to the following Chapters for their part in the installation: Theta-Rho (McNeese State University), Omicron-Chi (Nicholls State University), Rho-Theta (University of New Orleans), and Gamma (Louisiana State University).

The Sigma Brothers participated in over 2,100 hours of service to both local and national causes. Their relentless work and duty to serve their fellow man exemplifies their commitment to the core tenets of a Kappa Sigma: Scholarship, Leadership, Fellowship, and Service.

Kappa Sigma continues our pursuit of Jackson’s Dream as we spread our Order across North America.  Congratulations to the newly initiated Brothers and alumni of the Sigma Chapter!
