The Kappa Sigma Fraternity is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to grant a charter to the Upsilon-Psi Chapter at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. On August 20th, 2022, this group was initiated and installed as the 433rd Chapter of Kappa Sigma..

This Colony started in October of 2021, and they have already shown how quickly they can make a difference. Last year as a Colony, these now-Brothers completed 1,275 hours of community service and donated more than $6,000 to charitable causes. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish with a full year ahead!

Worthy Grand Master Adam Merillat (Epsilon-Mu, The University of Tulsa, ’02) attended the Installation to represent the Supreme Executive Committee. Other attendees included District Grand Master for Greater Missouri Eli Moran (Pi-Eta, Missouri Southern State University, ’12) and their Alumni Advisor Ben Albertson (Gamma-Nu, Washburn University, ’14). Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special.

We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who joined in the Installation as ritual teams.

Beta-Gamma – University of Missouri

Gamma-Nu – Washburn University

Gamma-Chi – Kansas State University

Sigma-Rho – University of Southern Illinois-Edwardsville

Every Brother wishes Upsilon-Psi only the best and that it becomes the brightest jewel of UM-KC. Let’s Go, Kangaroos!
