The Gamma-Tau Chapter at the University of Colorado, Boulder, experienced damage in their basement and chapter room during the widespread flooding that began in Colorado on September 9.  The chapter successfully removed the water and avoided major damage, but will need to re-carpet some areas.
After cleaning their chapter house, the brothers went  into the community to assist with relief efforts.  In doing so, the chapter was able to remove trash, mud and other debris from the street, while also helping to free cars encased in mud. The chapter then went door-to-door to assist families with their recovery efforts.
Each member of fraternity chapters on campus will donate $2, which will then be matched with $1 by the IFC, to be given to the Ron Stump Emergency Fund through the university.  The sum will total around $3,500.
