The 73rd Biennial Grand Conclave in Nashville will be a Kappa Sigma gathering like no other! As we draw closer, we will be highlighting several of the fun events taking place during Grand Conclave this year.

One of highlight’s every Grand Conclave is the Jackson’s Men Reception, sponsored by the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund. Fitting for a Grand Conclave hosted in Music City USA, this year’s Jackson’s Men Reception will be held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum!

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, located in downtown Nashville, has been called the “Smithsonian of country music,” celebrated for its broad cultural impact, educational mission, and unrivaled collection of historically important artifacts.

Launched in 1967 on Nashville’s Music Row, the museum opened its current downtown location in 2001. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum now includes 350,000 square feet of dynamic galleries, archival storage, retail stores, and event space, including performance space in the CMA Theater and Ford Theater, which regularly host nationally recognized live music and cultural events.

Other historic properties of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum include the legendary letterpress operation Hatch Show Print (located inside the museum) and Music Row’s Historic RCA Studio B, the oldest surviving recording studio in Nashville, where landmark recordings by Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, and many others were made.

Current featured exhibits at the museum include profiles of Brooks & Dunn, Boudleaux Bryant, The Station Inn, and Outlaw Country of the 1970s. The Hall of Fame Rotunda, featuring the plaques of the Country Music Hall of Fame inductees, is a must-see stop at the 73rd Biennial Grand Conclave!

The Jackson’s Men Reception is free and open to all Kappa Sigma Brothers who are One of Jackson’s Men. If you are not yet One of Jackson’s Men, sign up today at ef.kappasigma.org.
