Kappa Sigma Celebrates Two Decades of Dominance

Kappa Sigma has just completed another academic year, and once again it has been one for the record books!

Because of the leadership of our undergraduate Chapters and all our dedicated Alumni Brothers, Kappa Sigma has continued to stand out as the world’s #1 college social fraternity.

After setting several records last year, Kappa Sigma once again broke our own records:

  • It has been another historic biennium for our Champion Quest program, as Kappa Sigma recruited more men per Chapter than in any biennium in our history! No college fraternity comes close to recruiting more new members than Kappa Sigma.
  • We also simplified one of the jewels of our A Greater Cause program­–the Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign—to make it easier for our Chapters to help more veterans charities than ever before. We succeeded and set a new record with more than $774,000 donated through the Military Heroes Campaign. That is more than a 50% increase over last year.
  • Our undergraduate members backed that up with a record 504,000 hours of community service given to those in need.
  • Our Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund also had another remarkable year thanks to your generous support. We gave more money and awards through the Donald C. Dilley Jr. Scholarship Leadership Awards than at any point in our history, with more than $371,000 given through 689 awards.
  • We also held our best Stephen Alonzo Jackson Weekend of Giving in history, raising a record $795,000 in March. This historic weekend remains the best single-weekend, online fundraising event in the Greek world.

The Kappa Sigma Fraternity and Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund have never been stronger or healthier in our storied history, and we hope that you all can join us this summer at our Fraternal home in Charlottesville, Virginia as we celebrate Two Decades of Dominance at our 74th Biennial Grand Conclave July 26-30.
