Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the reestablishment and installation of the historic Alpha-Sigma Chapter. Originally founded in March of 1895, the Chapter was reinstalled on April 26, 2026. The Alpha-Sigma Colony was only kicked off on Feb. 27, 2026, and completed the Colony roadmap in only 35 days!

We can’t express enough how hard the Colony has worked to earn its Charter. To achieve this, the 68 men of Alpha-Sigma contributed 3,171 hours of service to their community, donated nearly $1,000 to charitable organizations, and completed multiple workshops on time management, the Code of Conduct, and Champion Quest.

These Brothers were joined by District Grand Master Wesley C. Bren (Theta-Upsilon, ’85), Alumnus Advisor Mark A. Earley (Beta-Sigma, ’89), Executive Director Bradley Bailey (Upsilon-Delta, ‘19), and Past Worthy Grand Scribe Daniel J. Tierney (Theta-Nu, ‘99), who delivered the keynote address.

We also want to extend a special thank you to the dedicated alumni who were in attendance for this historic evening, and the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:

  • Epsilon-Eta – Bowling Green State University
  • Theta-Nu – Ashland University
  • Theta-Omicron – Muskingum University
  • Theta-Upsilon – Miami University
  • Nu-Psi – University of Cincinnati
  • Tau-Mu – Capital University

Brothers everywhere wish Alpha-Sigma the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
