Kappa Sigma is proud to announce the Supreme Executive Committee has voted to reestablish the Kappa-Chi Chapter at the College of Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina and this past Saturday, January 13, 2024, they were installed, reclaiming their position as our 203rd Chapter. On October 5, 2022, the Kappa-Chi Colony was kicked off and over the last year and a half have worked hard to achieve their Chapter. To achieve their charter, just this year, the 71 men of Kappa-Chi donated over 2,300 hours of community service,  $3,500 to charitable causes, and completed multiple workshops over the Code of Conduct, Champion Quest, and time management.

These Brothers were joined by Worthy Grand Treasurer Lionel L. de la Houssaye, Jr. (Theta-Rho, ’83), Nicholas M. Hauck (Alpha-Iota, ’15), Assistant Director of Operations Jake A. Brown (Upsilon-Zeta, ’21), and Ritual Commission Member Samuel B. Isidoro (Xi-Rho, ’16) representing the Fraternity. Shawn P. Collins (Psi, ’86) represented the South Georgia District.

Thank you to all the volunteers and alumni who helped make this installation special including Taylor J. Bradley (Kappa-Chi, ’05).

We would also like to thank the Brothers of the following Chapters who attended the Installation as ritual teams:

Alpha-Nu – Wofford College

Chi-Omega – University of South Carolina

Mu-Zeta – University of North Carolina at Wilmington

Kappa-Kappa – Georgia Southwestern State University

Rho-Rho – Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College

Upsilon-Zeta – Middle Georgia State University

Brothers everywhere wish Kappa-Chi the best as they begin their road to excellence and offer our congratulations!
