It’s gameday again! This week, we’re highlighting another 4 Brothers who will be taking to the football field today to lead their teams to victory: Nathan A. Parodi (Xi, University of Arkansas, ‘20), Jake H. Yuracheck (Xi, University of Arkansas, ‘20), Nicholas B. Rice (Sigma-Theta, Old Dominion University, ‘18), and Codey Bennett (Upsilon-Alpha, Reinhardt University, ‘20).

In addition to Brother Bumper J. Pool (Xi, University of Arkansas, ‘19), who we highlighted in our last article, Brother Nathan Parodi plays for the Arkansas Razorbacks as a defensive back who has seen a lot of action on special teams over his eight games at Arkansas. Brother Parodi is second on the team for return yardage with an average of 37 yards per return.

Joining Brother Parodi on special teams is redshirt junior, Brother Jake Yurachek. Brother Yurachek is a linebacker on special teams and has played in over 90 special teams plays. He has been recognized by the Southeastern Conference as a member of the Fall 2020 SEC Academic Honor Roll. Brothers Pool, Parodi, and Yurachek are coming off an impressive win against the Texas A&M Aggies last week and seek to extend their undefeated season with a win against the #2 Georgia Bulldogs today.

Brother Nick Rice is the starting kicker for the  Old Dominion University Monarchs. Brother Rice leads the team with the most points 3 years in a row from 2017 to 2019. He’s played in almost every game since joining the team in 2017 with a career 48-yard field goal. Coming off a loss to Buffalo last week, Brother Rice and the Monarchs look to secure their 3rd win of the season as they take on the UTEP Miners today.

Brother Codey Bennett is a redshirt freshman for the Reinhardt University Eagles and plays an integral role on the team as the long-snapper. While last year’s season was cut short, all Brothers are excited to see what Brother Bennett and the Eagles will do for his next full season. The Eagles are coming off a heart-breaking 34-33 loss to Bethel University TN last week and are looking to improve their record to 3-2 against the Ave Maria Gyrenes today.

Good luck to each of these Brothers as they take the field this season and lead their teams to victory! If you know a Brother who is competing in NCAA athletics, let us know at [email protected].
